"The Pit Golems" is an original, Carnacki, the Ghost-Finder story, written by Ian Gordon, based on characters and themes created by British author, William Hope Hodgson.

Synopsis: Carnacki is called to investigate a series of bizarre sightings revolving around a small, isolated village in the hills of West Yorkshire. Queer-looking strangers have been seen wandering the streets after dark, pilfering livestock. The villagers claim the interlopers are coming from an abandoned mine in the hills—a colliery said to have once been occupied by a practitioner of the dark arts.
