The next games are under way, and the group is brought into a more intellectually-inclined challenge. Despite the ever-changing rules of the preview editions and not remembering how powerful their abilities actually are (and a paid off judge), they persevere and come out on top.

The River Devil has been defeated, but Nav seems changed from the experience. The party decides to boat-hop into port instead of waiting and find themselves finally in the city of Axis, where they are immediately thrust into their next deadly challenge: competitive sports.
