An emotional Garbine Muguruza collapsed to the court after winning Wednesday's final against Anett Knotaveit. She became the first Spaniard to win the year-end title in WTA history, in a year it was held in Guadalajara Mexico for the first time, making it the biggest tennis event in the the history of Latin America. It was also her biggest title since Wimbledon 2017.
