The gang try to escape from Jasmine's followers by taking to the sewers, but there Wesley is captured by a big bug with some useful information. Then, Angel tries to find proof his son wasn't simply a vessel designed to bring the evil Jasmine into the world and Connor embarks on a search for Cordelia. Then, Angel forces a demon (guest star David Denman) to tell him why Cordelia has turned to the dark side. Julie Benz also guest stars. In a fight with Faith, Angelus is tricked and captured. Before she bit Angelus, Faith had injected herself with a drug that caused them to fall into a coma. Willow comes to the rescue. Wesley frees Faith from prison and takes her to Los Angeles to help capture Angelus; the Beast's master plan is revealed.
