Results   Eliud Kipchoge was selected for his fifth Olympic team, hoping for a third consecutive gold medal in the marathon. Brad puts his biggest week of mileage as he continues his journey on the mend. Alemeshete Mekedes of Ethiopia won in 14:36. In the men’s 5000m, Morgan McDonald ran 13:18.65 and Jack Rayner 13:19.57 with Selemon Barega of Ethiopia taking it out in 12:55.68.
