Analyzing the Masters CrossFit Games programming with Jason Grubb

The inaugural TYR Cup has come and gone for Wodapalooza SoCal. Today we revisit the programming and the formatting for the TYR Cup and what the future holds for this unique competition.

It's the "All-Star Game" for the 2024 CrossFit season! The TYR CUP is going down this weekend in Huntington Beach, California as Team North America takes on Team World in the the very first team event of it's kind. Special guest Pedro, from Coffee Pods and Wods, joins the show as the gang breaks down the team format and MOST of the events these athletes will take on this weekend.

The "Fittest Game show on Earth" returns with CONTROVERSY as Justin Cotler defends his title against only 1 new contender. Dallin Pepper's appeal has been granted and he will be returning along with Justin Cotler as both prepare to see if Tudor Magda can make a splash on this episode of CrossFit Jeopardy.

We just crowned our very first "Grand Champion" with Casey Acree last episode and now we have 3 new contestants ready to take on 'The Board' We welcome 2024 CrossFit Games 2nd Fittest Man on Earth Dallin Pepper, Founder of Underdogs Athletics, Justin Cotler and the VOICE of the CrossFit Games, Sean Woodland.

The 2024 Northern California Classic went down last weekend which is run by CrossFit "OG"'s Blair Morrison and Ben Alderman. The NorCal Classic has always been promoted as a "throwback" the old days of CrossFit. Getting back into the lab and doing some of the more "outside the box training and programming" Special guest Tyler Watkins joins the show as we analyzing the programming of the 2024 Northern California Classic.

WE ARE FINALLY BACK!! The "Fittest Game Show on Earth" returns and we have another opportunity to get our FIRST 'Grand Champion' as Casey Acree is looking for his 3rd straight CrossFit Jeopardy win. His challengers today are Games veteran Margaux Alvarez and the man behind "Fluffy Duck", Josh Pirtle.

The secret is out, Chase programmed this weeks CrossFit Affiliate Programming. Today he will go through his process of how he landed on this week of programming from start to finish along with what was on the table and what got scrapped.

Team Programming has always been a soft spot in our hearts and more often than not an avenue of frustration on how it's been programmed at the CrossFit Games for several years. Bill and Chase take a look at the team programming and give their assessment if it's trending in the right direction.
