Suzy Griswold – Survivor and founder of HealingStrong cancer support groups

    1:00:46

CLICK HERE FOR SHOW NOTES AND LINKS Today I have the great pleasure of sharing an interview I did with my dear friend and fellow cancer survivor Suzy Griswold, founder of HealingStrong. Suzy was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2009. Three months after surgery and radiotherapy, the cancer spread to her lymph nodes. When chemotherapy was recommended, Suzy began investigating alternative, natural and non-toxic cancer treatments and discovered the Gerson Therapy and the power of radical life change and faith. Eighteen months later she was cancer free! In September 2013, with a team of big-hearted volunteers, Suzy organized a faith-based holistic cancer conference called HealingStrong, and asked me to speak and emcee it, which was an incredible honor. The conference was a really special gathering of like-minded survivors and thrivers that birthed a big idea. Three months later, Suzy started a HealingStrong a free monthly support group in the Atlanta area with a focus on education, encouragement and sharing empowering resources to help patients take control of their life and health. The HealingStrong support group model is about rebuilding the body, restoring the soul, and renewing the spirit. In the last seven years, HealingStrong groups have been founded in hundreds of cities and is now the largest network of holistic cancer support groups in the world. And it’s still free. I’m a huge fan and supporter of HealingStrong and Suzy Griswold is one of my favorite people in the world. She is a truly an amazing person with some wonderful wisdom to share. Enjoy!

    1:55:45

Full ShowNotes and Links here! Ralph Moss, PhD, is a legend and a personal hero of mine. Dr. Moss is a graduate of New York University  and Stanford University. He was the science writer and assistant director of public affairs at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York  from 1974 until 1977 when they asked him to lie about the results of a study on a natural compound for cancer from apricot seeds called Laetrile. Moss courageously blew the whistle and it cost him his career. But the end of that career was the beginning of a much better one. He wrote a firsthand account of what went down in the book Doctored Results: The Suppression of Laetrile at Sloan Kettering Institute for Cancer Research. And for the last forty years, Dr. Moss has dedicated his life to independently evaluate the claims of conventional and alternative cancer treatments all over the world. He has peer-reviewed numerous scientific papers for journal such as Blood, Current Oncology, Tumor Biology and many more. He has written and/or edited twelve books and four documentary films on cancer research, the cancer industry and treatment options. I discovered his book Questioning Chemotherapy way back in 2004. My mom had it! Dr. Moss currently publishes The Moss Reports, which are continually updated detailed reports on the most common cancer diagnoses. He also provides informational and personalized consultations for cancer patients and their families. In 2019, he wrote The Ultimate Guide to Cancer: DIY Research, to help lay people research their own cancers. This 50-page report is available free of charge at www.mossreports.com. His latest book, published in 2020, is entitled Cancer, Incorporated: The Inside Story of the Corruption, Greed and Lies of Big Pharma. Also available at www.mossreports.com This interview is an incredible deep dive into the cancer industry and alternative treatments.

Dr. Valter Longo – Fasting Mimicking Diet improves breast cancer treatment

    56:39

Complete show notes and links here: https://www.chrisbeatcancer.com/dr-valter-longo-fasting-mimicking-diet-improves-breast-cancer-treatment/ “The most powerful medicine is the medicine from within.” – Dr. Valter Longo It’s been two and a half years, since my last interview with Dr. Valter Longo, and today he’s back to share some exciting updates on his ongoing research, specifically on fasting to improve cancer treatment. Valter Longo PhD is the author of the book, The Longevity Diet, and one of the foremost researchers in the world on fasting, immune system regeneration, and longevity. Dr. Longo and colleagues also developed the Fasting Mimicking Diet, a 4-5 day, plant-based, calorie-restricted diet, which is used clinically under the name Xentigen (formerly Chemolieve) and is available to consumers under the brand name ProLon. In this new interview, Dr. Longo talks about three new studies published in Nature on the impact that a Fasting Mimicking Diet has on cancer cells and cancer treatment. These studies found: -Breast cancer patients who did a four-day Fasting Mimicking Diet around each chemo cycle had the same amount of side effects as the control group doing chemo, but without taking an additional drug to reduce side effects. The FMD group had a five times better response to chemo than the non-FMD group. They were more likely to experience 90-100% tumor loss and they had far less long-term immune cell damage. -The Fasting Mimicking Diet combined with IV vitamin C worked better than vitamin C alone. -Hormone therapy ER+ with FMD caused increased tumor regression and reversed treatment resistance. It is an absolute thrill and an incredible honor to be able to interview Dr. Valter Longo again. Dig in, learn some amazing stuff, and then share this interview with the people you care about!
