Today, we are doing a product review! This is actually my first ever product review episode. Crazy, right? Hopefully this works out as intended… I'm actually very excited to do this because as tall girls, it’s already hard enough to find clothes that fit our proportions, and when it comes to shoes, the struggle is even more real. Can I get a ‘hear, hear’ if you agree? Let’s face it, big brands are not moving at the pace we need them to move at even though they probably hear our constant cries. We got pants fitting like capris, dresses fitting like t-shirts, and shoes fitting like they’re meant to fit as kid sizes. Social media is the topic of today’s episode. I actually talked about this before, but I was talking about how social media was ruining our confidence. But the thing is social media itself isn’t ruining your confidence, you are. How you specifically use these platforms ultimately will affect your self-esteem. Let’s talk about it. Social media can be such a beautiful place for tall women. You can find and connect with the tall girl community, participate in body positivity and body neutrality movements, and find positive representations of tall women in the media. So, I’m a college graduate??? Well, right now only half of one. I have 2 graduations; one already happened last week and this coming Tuesday is the second and final one.
