This week on Anime Pulse we got the roughest isekai starts, villainess anime, and weight training desserts. Up first Joseph talks about an unexpectedly long walk, and Andrew gives some specifics about his latest trip to Japan. Then we skip the industry news as there is none, going right into the previews. Joseph gets isekai'd as an assassin who collects materials to use at a campfire cookout, and Andrew reincarnates as a villainess who loves monster meat and punching women.

Everybody needs socks. Not just the day to day boring old socks, mind you. You need some nice warm, cushy socks that will help keep your feet safe in the colder months. We’re not shilling any particular brand or anything but after watching today’s movie, Jeremiah Johnson(1972), we’re reminded of the need for good winter gear. Jeremiah Johnson is based very loosely based on both a real mountain man and a period fiction novel. The titular Jeremiah is played by Robert Redford. This week on Anime Pulse we got Andrew back from Japan, Joseph reading all 1000 pages, and Fall previews. Up first Andrew fills us in on his second time in the promise land, and Joseph has put in a worrying amount of time into Stardew Valley. Then in the industry news the indie vtubing community has once again been torn asunder, as the hellhound has returned. Finally the previews see us out with Joseph unlocking his gatcha luck summoning an awkward office worker to be the last boss, and Andrew is in love with a furry who is so ordinary he drinks from a ramune bottle.

This week on Anime Pulse we got gender swapping isekai dads, smart phone limitations, and apartment hunting. Up first Joseph gives the sad news about his offer on a house, and Andrew asks the community who their top female villains in anime are. Then in the industry news there is none, but don't worry, we got another edition of Would or Wouldn't. Finally in the last review before Andrew heads to Japan for two weeks, the guys team up to tackle Joseph's first foray into the villainess genre but with an otaku father twist to the mix.

In a turn of events we decided to take a trip to the island of Japan as a theme. What kind of theme could we pluck out of cinema from the land of the rising sun? Would it be films of the samurai? Then in the industry news the latest Demon Slayer movie stole the show at the box offices, and a really dumb person gets hired into the gaming industry. And finally our review has Joseph and Andrew perform the fusion dance while returning from death, who the newest best girl is, and how many more season they can get away with keeping Rem in a coma.
