Fruit Tree Elves, Farting Dogs, & Free Climbers

Wells is a pizza hero and Brandi swears she's done collecting animals. Her famous last words... We'll believe it when we see it. Buckle up, because this week goes from the tragic stories of the Cornell Seven & Lindsay Clancy to the feel-good "Fruit Tree Elves" and a falling free climber. After watching a "free climber" fall (a lot), Wells has an opinion on what should count as "free." Hot take alert! He also has a feel-good story about Fruit Tree Elves in San Francisco who are technically breaking the law, but providing fruit for all. Favorite Things include what you need to watch right now on Netflix and what Wells thinks of The Traitors: New Blood, with the normal people. Or at least they were normal, until they got their own people? Brandi shares who she wants to win Dancing with the Stars, and our YFTers came through with a voicemail on why people are questioning the Lindsay Clancy case. It is a real rollercoaster of an episode today, just the way we like it!CALL US AT 858-630-1856. An Anya Taylor-Joy alien theory that'll turn your head, the truth about yeast, true crime docs, some cult talk and just a sprinkle of Golden (it'll make sense when you listen) on today's episode of Your Favorite Thing.Brandi's background is ever changing due to the renovation chaos, while Wells swears off golf for a while. They lean on ChatGPT to explain what yeast actually is, and Wells is on a true-crime kick this week, giving Ryan Murphy's new Lizzie Borden anthology two thumbs way up. And then, after backlash from last week, Wells and Brandi ask the YFTers who know what's up to please explain the Lindsay Clancy case to them like they're five.CALL US AT 858-630-1856. Wells and Brandi tell us about Kelly Ripa's podcast called Let's Talk Off Camera recently. The show dives deep into Kelly's life, candidly discussing her marriage, family, career, and how she manages to juggle it all in the public eye. We hope you check it out and that you enjoy it as much as we do.

Rise and shine, YFTers! Your favorite hosts are f*cking tired and recording at 6am just for you. It's a shorter one this week, but they still bring the goods... A documentary about the Olympics' most-mocked breakdancer, a new Greek comedian's Netflix special, and a murder comedy about a married couple that hits a little too close to Brandi's own moving chaos. She survived the move itself, but now has no working stove, no working toilet upstairs, and a shower with no doors. Surviving, not thriving. And per usual, Wells is racing out to catch a flight to Monterey for a charity golf event (Golf Party), fresh off his haunted-hotel trip to Alabama. Ahhh, never a dull moment.FAVORITE THINGS:Silo (Apple TV+)Sterling Point (Amazon Prime)Ray Gun Breaking Badly (Netflix)Stavros: Uncle Stav (Netflix)Traitors: New Blood (NBC)Signal One (Hulu)Dark Matter (Apple TV)Over Your Dead Body (AMC+)Thanks for tuning in, YFTers. Can Wells take Steph Curry in a chip-off at Pebble Beach to win $50K? No. But he still calls it one of the best experiences of his life. And for the angry Canadian YFTers, last week's horse-meat comments gets cleared up... It's just the freaky-deaky French. Then, Brandi weighs in on the court case that's got the whole country talking. And good news for everyone... Brandi's gluten-free gut is finally growling again! We also get a classic Wells rant about FaceTime's new zoom glitch, courtesy of all the time he spends on it with his wife overseas, plus a roast of Jaden Smith's new carpentry hobby. Wells and Brandi start with the heavy news that a close friend of the Cyrus family, Dolly Parton, passed away last week. Brandi shares her memories of Dolly from Hannah Montana days, and talks about her iconic presence, which is why everyone loved her. Rest in peace, Dolly. And in other unfortunate news, Wells' Golf Channel reboot of The Big Break got canceled after a controversial golf ad blew up on the internet. From there it's straight into what to watch, and you don't want to miss this week's suggestions! From one of the best shows to come out on TV in a long time (Furious), the Dark Matter premiere, and Brandi's friend Megan's new show Sterling Point, they're all must-watches this week. Plus a new Blake Crouch audiobook, a cult horror pick on Netflix, and the internet's new obsession with Luke Bryan's worst lyrics ever. Fart goes the butt. A rant fueled by fake hair and GLP-1s spirals into Wells creating a new rule: if you're getting ripped, you're cheating on your wife. Period!Your favorite hosts had quite the week, from Wells' potential $12,000 emergency vet bill to Brandi's stinky garbage from Noah's Cracker Barrel leftovers. Wells questions Brandi's donkey collection, falls in love with the Walmart goat lady, and reminisces about the drunk cigarette days. Their favorites list this week may be small, but their tangents are unhinged. Wells and Brandi split hard on the new Green Lantern show, and Brandi advocates for wild horses.FAVORITE THINGS: LanternsBlue Zeus (Sky Dog Sanctuary) Thanks for tuning in, YFTers. The best movie of the year (according to Wells) that's hard to watch with your partner, and must-watch documentaries on today's episode of Your Favorite Thing.Wells shares what it's like to be in his brain, while Brandi's fresh off a VIP night at Nashville's PBR event, watching bull riders eat dirt from a platform right above the chute. Plus, Sarah's off to London for six months to play Sally Bowles in Cabaret and Brandi's STILL mid-move into the new house.Naturally, their conversation spirals into a financial planning discussion followed by a full CBS Sunday Morning deep-dive on Amish dating rules... Oh, and the Lululemon "Big Ass Bag" reviews get a dramatic reading they did not ask for. And stay tuned till the end for a YFT favorite, Dirty Grandpa.FAVORITE THINGS:The Invite (rented on Apple)The Last House (Netflix)The Shards (Hulu)The Truth and Tragedy of Mariah Wilson (Netflix)A Toxic Love Story (Netflix)The Bombing of Pan Am 103 (Netflix/BBC)Tires Season 3 (Netflix)Thanks for tuning in, YFTers.
