This week's guest has made a living building bridges both literally in Rwanda and figuratively as she’s cobbled together a dynamic career that’s taken her to some of the most beautiful and wild places on the planet. A friend of the pod Brooke Segerberg is Senior Biodiversity Research Officer with WWF that is taking her to Cambodia. We caught her days before her move! Brooke’s also acted as a biodiversity ranger and trapper in New Zealand. Led as a short-term consultant managing a footbridge program in eSwatini in Swaziland. And collected miller moths with a Dustbuster as a Wildlife Technician in Glacier National Park carrying out grizzly bear and moth research. Impressed yet? Co-hosts Katherine, Mallory and Austin follow the thread of her career that taught her how to create connections, find rare opportunities and know when to switch up the routine. We also talk about just because a career sounds great on paper, doesn’t mean you won’t experience highs and lows along the way.
