Catch all of the past week's great guests in one place.  Wall Street Journal foreign correspondent Evan Gershkovich joins Jon Stewart to talk about his new memoir, “This Cursed Beautiful Land: A Russian-American Story.” Gershkovich, who spent 16 months imprisoned in Russia on false espionage charges, breaks down how a source, a second meeting, and a Putin pep talk to the FSB landed him in Russian prison. He discusses growing up in a Russian-speaking home, what drew him to reporting in Russia, life pre-imprisonment, and how he ultimately became a bargaining chip in a Putin-led prisoner swap scheme. He also weighs in on what a post-Putin Russia might look like and the totalitarian warning signs he sees in the U.S. Booker Prize-winning and bestselling author Marlon James sits down with Jordan Klepper to discuss his new novel “The Disappearers," which The New York Times called "the novel of the decade, if not the century.” James discusses his childhood in Jamaica, where he hid his sexuality by learning to disappear; his use of violence and sex in his work; and literature’s role in keeping a historical record for those typically erased from mainstream history. Irish musician CMAT joins Jordan to discuss her acclaimed third album, “Euro-Country.” They talk about how she weaves profound lyricism with Western melodies, what it means for her music to embody “funeral humor,” why the Irish psyche loves country music, and how the title track examines the repercussions of politicians’ actions. John Wilson joins Jordan to discuss his new documentary, “The History of Concrete.” The creator of “How To with John Wilson” shares how he finds beauty in the mundane through his unique shooting and editing style, how he scored an uninterrupted shot of Kim Kardashian at a fancy dinner party, and what happens when you spend your entire film budget on a creepy wax museum in Rome. Jordan also pitches an idea for Wilson’s next documentary project. -- The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11/10c on Comedy Central. Wall Street Journal foreign correspondent Evan Gershkovich joins Jon to talk about his new memoir, “This Cursed Beautiful Land: A Russian-American Story.” Gershkovich, who spent 16 months imprisoned in Russia on false espionage charges, breaks down how a source, a second meeting, and a Putin pep talk to the FSB landed him in Russian prison.
