Welcome to another episode of The Yacht Report Podcast.This episode is dedicated to the making of the two parts documentary of the history and restoration of the magnificent super yacht M/Y Marala.In the episode, we talk about how we came to actually film on board What it was like to film the Incredibles restoration of the yacht. The preparation for the videos and how it's stressed me greatly once I realised the massive task I had to truly represent the work that have been done by everybody involved in the restoration.

The 56m Sailing Yacht Bayesian sank in August 2024 with 7 Fatalities including the Tech Millionaire Mike Lynch. After the sinking the CEO of Italian Sea Group blamed the crew saying that his yacht was 'unsinkable if operated properly'.In May 2025 the salvage of the yacht which lies in 50m water off the coast of Sicily began. We talk about the entire think including the interim report form the UK Maritime investigation Branch, the MAIB.

Case Details Mr. Caballero is a seaman employed by Oceaneering International, Inc., a maritime contracting company based in Houston, Texas. He has worked for Oceaneering International for twenty-two years. He is an assistant cook. On March 22, 2023, the Vessel was secured in a drydock in Leith, Edinburg. But Defendant’s agents and/or servants failed to properly secure the Vessel in drydock. Around 8:35 a.m., strong winds dislodged the Vessel from its holding, causing the Vessel to topple over.
