The Military Religious Freedom Foundation has reportedly received complains by over 100 soldiers alleging that they are being instructed that the war in Iran is part of a Biblical plan to bring about the end of the world - Armageddon. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, also accused Iranian leadership of making decisions “on the basis of theology - their view of theology, which is an apocalyptic one.” Rubio argued that Israel forced the United States into attacking, which was contrary to the White House position days previous when they said Israel attacking first was good optics. President Trump followed this up by saying it was his “opinion” that Iran would attack an unknown target with unknown means, ultimately contradicting Rubio. President Trump has was gifted not merely hundreds of millions of dollars by Miriam Adelson, but labeled the “savior” of the Jewish people by the same. Trump has also received the Israel Prize and was given the Keter Yerushalayim (Crown of Jerusalem). Although some rabbis disagree, others believe that Trump is a “messiah” figure, if not the Moshiach, a future Jewish king, or at the very least, a savior to lead the Jewish people. However, this Jewish messiah will also be the antichrist of the Christians and the al-Dajjāl of the Muslims. Having been branded the “peace President” while bringing genocide in Gaza and war with Iran, Trump has fulfilled the caricature vision of the antichrist’s promises of peace. But all of this is about optics and framing, not about literal prophecy.
