Ben Kanute is an American triathlete who competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics. In 2017 and 2022 he took second place at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship. This episode is all about how race day went down for the 2024 IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona! What a day of epic explosions from most of the favorites. Jackson had a tough day but he sure did his best to pay honor to this course. The RTS team was in support of Jackson and Team ZOOT for this journey and overall, things went incredibly well...it even rained a bit. Have a listen and enjoy the recap.

Jackson Laundry is nearly ready to take on The Big Island. There’s a lot to unpack in the episode including training programming, political jargon, and the standard banter between Garrick Loewen, Nick Chase and Jackson himself. 

We train, travel, and race with the best conditions in mind, however, this race weekend was NOT expected to be so hard. It was especially hard to see the destruction caused by hurricane Helene for those traveling from Augusta to Chatty. Marc, Jackson, Lisa, Garrick, and Nick all talk about the whirlwind of a weekend where yes, we all still had the best time together. This episode is full of fun.

Organization Progress, Future Plans, and Racing Events Andre and Nick discussed the progress and future plans of their organization, which has been involved in various operations, logistics, marketing, and sponsorship activities. They also touched on the organization's efforts to host national championships and other significant events. Andre mentioned that their CEO, Bill Christie, is still actively involved despite his numerous responsibilities. They discussed the future of their racing events, particularly the Clash Pro event, and the growth and expansion of their endurance community. They also noted the changing preferences of participants and the potential for partnerships with motorsports facilities. Andre expressed a positive outlook on the industry's growth and potential partnerships, despite the current economic challenges. Triathlon Growth, Accessibility, and Youth Development. 

In this episode, we sit down with a long-time supporter and friend of RTS, Zac. As Zac's Coach, Nick has always been blown away by his sheer tenacity and ability to get-shit-done. However, as life goes, sometimes we must overcome aspects of life, that no one should have to deal with. After learning his daughter Charlotte has an inoperable brain tumor, the timer started on how to maximize all areas of life with her! We are proud to be able to share this remarkable story.

Nick has been a sweat test expert with Precision Hydration since the COVID days and since there have been hundreds of tests, he wanted to chat with Andy on a few key topics. Most importantly, smart sodium intake has had a profound effect on many athletes and their ability to compete.
