She previously served as Executive Director of the Coalition of Virtue, a Muslim-led nonprofit known for its role in the Supreme Court case Mahmoud v. Taylor. Munshi has since pursued advanced study in the Islamic scholarly tradition and is currently an advisor to the White House Religious Liberty Commission. Since this interview Carrie has officially been removed by President Trump and Sameerah has “resigned in protest of this removal and over the illegal war in Iran. She said she could no longer be associated with a commission clearly trying to promote a Zionist agenda nor be affiliated with an administration that kills children in cold blood at the urging of a genocidal state.” Dr. John Harfouch studies the history of philosophy from 1600 to the present. His 2018 book, Another Mind-Body Problem: A History of Racial Non-Being, presents a counter-history of human subjectivity in the Modern period tracing the development of race and racism through the discourse on minds and bodies. He has also written extensively on imperialism, colonialism, and orientalism in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. His current research program focuses on Palestinian philosopher, Fayez Sayegh, who developed a unique philosophical method to advocate for justice in the Middle East. At UAH, Dr. Harfouch often teaches classes in ethics, history, and political philosophy. He is also the director of UAH’s pre-law certificate. Joseph Levine is an American philosopher at the University of Massachusetts Amherst who received his PhD from Harvard University in 1981. Stephen resigned from the Labour party, after penning a widely circulated letter, after the Labour party warned him they would “investigate” him if he spoke at a leftist organization on Holocaust Memorial Day. He is a member of Camden branch of PSC (Palestine Solidarity Campaign), Camden & Islington Momentum (affiliate of the Labour Party) and lately of the small network ‘Holocaust Survivors and Descendants Against Genocide.’ Haim Bresheeth Zabnner was Professor of Media and Cultural Studies at University of East London and then a Professorial Research Associate at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).He is Filmmaker, photographer, film studies scholar, and historian. His films include “A State of Danger,” a documentary on the first Palestinian Intifada. His books include "An Army Like No Other: How the Israel Defense Force Made a Nation."
