The story of The Cure is a long tale, stretching back to the early/mid 1970s, which may surprise some people. Markus leads an early days exploration, as he and Ray weigh in on their personal intersections with the band. As they discuss the music, the Imbalanced Boys also identify future sonic signatures, in early recordings, that led to their massive, and continuing, success! There's focus on Robert Smith, the central, and sole continuous figure in the group, as part of the telling of the story.
