4 - Jack Coyne

Jack Coyne is a filmmaker based in New York City. We chat about Jack's new company Public Opinion, Public Opinion's 2100 square feet studio in Manhattan, growing up in New York City, working for Casey Neistat, Public Opinion finding success on Tik Tok, the pros and cons of going to art school, doing branded work for rappers, playing tennis at Grand Central Terminal, and the New York Knicks stealing Jalen Brunson. 

Joe Greer is a photographer based in Nashville, TN. We chat about the future of the Bengals, our road-trip to Marfa when the pandemic started, Joe's time at VSCO, Corey and Joe's pastoral background, Joe's recent NPR article about his new book 'The Lay of the Land', living in NYC, Joe being rusty at street photography, marathon training, and what is next for Joe as he focuses on life in Tennessee. 

Corey begins by sharing a feeling and talking about the response from the debut episode of the pod. Then, we hit some thoughts on the new film app, Kanye calling out Skete Davidson, Global Warming, the pod hosting a Fall Guys lobby, and more. Finally, Corey calls it a wrap and addresses the recent Instagram updates. 

Corey attempts his first solo pod by taking a look at the current state of film photography. In the inaugural pod Corey explains his current thesis on the hobby, examines the Kodak Eastman company and looks at some data about the ever increasing film prices. Finally, he closes it out with where he is at personally in regards to being a casual film shooter and how this issue of rising prices is likely affecting all of us more than we care to admit.
