A mentee recently emailed me to say she had closed her first acquisition. What makes the story important is not just the deal. It is the timeline.

She started in group coaching in 2020, later joined the VIP Mastermind, kept working the process, went off on her own, and eventually closed her first deal in 2026.

This episode is about perseverance, but not the shallow motivational kind. Business acquisition requires patience, pivots, discipline, action, and the willingness to stay in the game long enough for the good things to happen.

I also discuss two traits I consistently see in successful mentees: they do not complain, and they make decisions quickly once they have enough information.

If business acquisition is what you want to do, this episode is a reminder that preparation matters, but eventually preparation must become external action.
