We discuss Al Jourgenson, his ability to cheat death for over 60 years, and the odd and chaotic backstory to Psalm 69 (which includes a story about William S. Burroughs and some annoying raccoons). 

Jenn D'Eugenio of the podcast and non-profit company Women in Vinyl is back, and she's got a new book out called Women in Vinyl! We discuss the unique, the under appreciated, the strange band The Cramps and their debut album Songs the Lord Taught Us. 

On this episode of the show, I am joined by French musician Lila Ehjä to discuss her latest album Clivota, a dark, hypnotic, experimental album that made my top 10 of the year for 2024. We're also discussing one of France's greatest artists, Serge Gainsbourg, and his 1971 masterpiece Histoire de Melody Nelson.
