“We want kids to have access to wordlists because. . . when . . . they see a word, ‘Oh, I think I know what that means!’ So it pops off the list, into their eyes, through their brain, out their fingers, and into their paper. It becomes a part of them. This moves the word from a passive vocabulary into an active vocabulary.” This philosophy has influenced many IEW resources. In this episode, Andrew Pudewa and Julie Walker talk about the printed student reference tools we have created and how those have led to the IEW Writing Toolbox app. Referenced MaterialsPortable Walls™ for Structure and Style® StudentsTools for Young WritersPortable Walls™ Grammar on the GoPortable Walls™ for the Public SpeakerPortable Walls™ for Academic WritingA Word Write NowIEW Writing Toolbox app If you have questions for Andrew, send them to [email protected] your question will be answered at the next Ask Andrew Anything (AAA).If you have questions about IEW products or classes, contact customer service at 800.856.5815 or [email protected]
