S2, Ep 1- Chavonne Stewart- That One Lyric from "I'll Do Anything"

We’re back with another season, and this one has been a lifetime in the making. This season, we’re joined by many of Jackson Browne’s bandmates and by other Grammy-winning musicians you know, all of them here to honor Jackson by choosing That One Lyric of his that impacted them. In this episode, meet Chavonne Stewart, one of Jackson’s two backup singers. Chavonne picked That One Lyric from Jackson’s song “I’ll Do Anything.” And as a special treat, Chavonne sings the lyric for us! The conversation takes us deep into the meaning of love, without keeping score. You’ll get a kick out of hearing how she and Jackson met, how they reinvent Jackson’s songs that are already part of music history, and how Jackson inspired Chavonne to start the nonprofit, Exposher, that mentors high school girls.
