Week 12 on into race day is over! I ran the River City Half Marathon in Richmond Va on 3-7-2026 and had a great time. It was the first Sportsbackers race I did with my daughter who has now completed 2 half marathons. I think I've done 20 or 30, I'm not sure. The Ashland Railroad 'Rails and Trails' 10k is Saturday, March 21, 2026. In the spirit of the upcoming race, I decided to dig into the podcast archives and pull out an old show about the same event.
