Episode 124: Tom’s adventures at Savage Mountian Punk Fest

Tom goes on vacation AGAIN. He spends plenty of time on the beach, but also manages to squeeze in some record shopping. He and Neil also discuss the cancellation of Punk Rock Bowling for 2026, the Dr. Strange 37th anniversary show and whatever else was on their twisted minds. The PTID guys are thrilled to talk to one of the true Godfathers of New York Hardcore, Agnostic Front singer Roger Miret. The wide ranging conversation gets into the early days in the Lower East Side, and the way the band operates today. There's talk about the new record, as well as fellow H/C legends like Vinnie Stigma and Harley Flanagan. With new and old songs from Agnostic Front, and Roger Miret and the Disasters. 

Way back in 1995, Rhythm Collision's Clobberer was one of Tom's favorite albums. Three decades later he and Neil catch up with the recently reunited band, and they're happy as a clam. Long time Motor City punk Amado Guadarrama stops by for the second time for a wide ranging talk about all things Detroit. They also dig into the new Norcos Y Horchata record, Precious Little Album, and the band's continued evolution. With songs by Norco's Y Horchata!

The PTID guys catch up with Stephen Hockenhull AKA Hocky from Instant Agony and a bunch of other bands. Although they never met, Neil and Hocky grew up close to each other and shared many experiences and gigs. Listen to them compare English slums and classic shows.
