President Trump returned to the White House Thursday afternoon after a trip to Asia and a meeting with Chinese President Xi. It comes as the nations are engaged in a tough trade war, covering everything from agriculture to advanced technology. Island nations in the Caribbean worked on rescue and recovery operations in the wake of Hurricane Melissa. The storm tore through Jamaica, leveling some communities entirely. As part of the latest ceasefire deal, Israel has released nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees and the bodies of nearly 200.
