
The Strait of Hormuz is a small strip of water connecting the Persian Gulf to the world’s oceans and it’s been a big problem for the world’s economy amidst the war with Iran as The Islamic Republic has blocked the region’s oil exports. On an average day about a fifth of the world’s oil sails out of the Strait of Hormuz. President Trump has urged NATO and other U.S. allies to assist with the Strait of Hormuz dilemma, but many nations don’t want to get involved. We discussed the latest in the ongoing war with Iran and the impacts the war poses on everyday Americans.
