There’s a rhythm to how the festival unfolds. Thursday opens slowly, almost like a breath in. By Friday night, the pulse is stronger, but not too heavy. Monument festival had settled into its rhythm, and Kia and Polygonia stepped into the wooden dj-booth together. The forest floor was vibrating, the crowd fully present. Their set matched the moment—playful, warm, and alive. It felt like Friday was always meant to sound like this. Varden became their playground. This was more than a strong back-to-back. Two years earlier, they met here, both playing solo, both part of the Monument line-up for the first time. This night marked an anniversary of their friendship. Means&3rd aka Ben Marsden joins us for episode 469 with an extensive session covering over 2 hours worth of techno territory. The Manchester based artist can be found behind the counter at the legendary Eastern Bloc Records where he fronts the house and techno curation for the shop. He has leveraged his exposure to the latest sounds there to promote his own Unveiled Nuance events and label as well as securing performances at events throughout the country. There is a big black heart in Barcelona that it is still beating. Three weeks later, we’re still digesting the magic that was the fourth edition of Mostra festival. From the most intimate listening moments to collective catharsis on the dancefloor, this year was something else. Starting from the end this year, we’re proud to present the recorded closing set from Mostra's resident ABSIS, who delivered a deeply emotional finale that distilled everything Mostra stands for: a blend of force, finesse, energy and passion — all woven into one. Across four editions, countless moments, different days and stages, ABSIS has always been there: reading the different dance floors, adapting, connecting the dots between sound and feelings. Being a resident is more than just playing; it’s embodying the festival’s pulse, giving it identity and continuity, and raising the collective experience to another level. If you’ve journeyed with Mostra through the years, you know how central ABSIS (alongside Timnah and Patrick Russell) has been to shaping that Mostra spirit. If you haven’t yet, you may find the chance next year. And now, for the first time: ABSIS closing the festival. Master of futuristic, high-fidelity electronics, Pianeti Sintetici returns for a mind-bending edition of MNMT Live, recorded earlier this year at the Opificio party at Argo16 in Venice. “In this live I wanted to express different facets of my sound, there are stems of many new productions that will be released in the future. I tried to combine everything with the sonic aesthetics of Opificio and I think I reached a good compromise between drum n bass, IDM and techno. Crescent label head Labyrinthine joins us for this session direct from Tokyos iconic 'Womb'. Recorded live on November 29th 2024 as part of FORCE - Paradigma Records’ showcase. Born in Poland and based in London, this DJ/producer is also the co-owner of Crescent London - a label synonymous with deep, hypnotic techno. Deeply ingrained in the London electronic music scene and beyond, his DJ sets are immersive sonic journeys, weaving energy, depth, and contrast between darkness and light. A key figure in the UK underground, he has been a driving force in the scene, regularly hosting events across London, as well as in Berlin and Manchester. His distinct sound has recently taken him to legendary venues like About Blank in Berlin, Womb in Tokyo and Buenos Aires.
