#34 - Palestine, and Africa's Last Colony ft. Sahrawi Voice

When Morocco became a signatory to the Abraham Accords in 2020, thereby recognising the Israeli State, many were left shocked at what appeared to be a sudden Arab betrayal of the Palestinian cause. What many didn't realise, though, was that decades of ties already existed between the two — ties the Accords built on, leading to the sinister mutual recognition of each other's illegally occupied territories: namely Palestine, and the Western Sahara, dubbed Africa's Last Colony.In this episode of the Let's Talk Palestine Podcast, we speak to Mohamadsalem, co-founder of Sahrawi Voice, to explore who the occupied Sahrawis are, what their struggle looks like, and look at how both the Palestinian and Sahrawi struggles are inherently linked, as our occupiers deepen ties.
