Hour 2: Former Chicago Bears Wide Receiver and afternoon radio co-host ESPN Chicago Tom Waddle joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the Bears Training Camp.   Kap & J. Hood discussed Sean Burke rebounded very nicely tonight in Houston, allowing 1 hit with 6 strikeouts over 5.2 innings, but walks continued to be a bit of an issue. Regardless, does it feel like he is the White Sox game 1 starter again?

Hour 1:  Kap & J. Hood discussed Chicago Bears GM Ryan Poles was very honest about Kyler Gordon today, saying "I don't know" if he will play for the Bears this season. How many games do you expect Kyler to play? I'm firmly at zero.  Without Gordon, who was a key piece of Dennis Allen's scheme ostensibly, are you concerned the defense will hold the Bears back from repeating as division champions?

Hour 3: NFL Insider for SI.com Albert Breer joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the Bears and the latest NFL storylines. Kap & J. Hood played Shot or No Shot, took a trip Around The NFL and the Kap & J. Hood Cut of The Day.  

Hour 2: National Bears Reporter for ESPN Courtney Cronin Joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the Bears and the latest NFL storylines.  Kap & J. Hood discussed the Fair or Foul: Is the word "Sharted" a bad word?  The Bears fan perspective on Ryan Poles vs Ben Johnson.   

Hour 1:  Kap & J. Hood discussed the Cubs smashed the Brewers 17-3.   It was so bad they go with a position player in the 7th inning. Any issues with the sanctity of the game when a position player comes to the mound in the 7th?  Cubs are now at 62 homers in the month of August their most in franchise history in a month, the most of any MLB team this season in a month, and just the 4th team in MLB history to hit 60+ homers in a calendar month, it's the second most in a single month of all time, and are the 4th team in the history of the game with multiple 8-HR games.

Hour 2: MLB Insider ESPN Jesse Rogers joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the White Sox, Cubs and the latest MLB storylines.  Kap & J. Hood discussed the White Sox who held serve and made history. No team has ever won as many games as the Sox after losing 100 games the year before. Is this the most impressive turn around in Chicago sports history? The Cubs fans don't believe the Cubs can catch the Brewers and may fail to make the playoffs.

Hour 1:  Kap & J. Hood discussed the Chicago Bears final preseason game against the Titans.  Should the NFL to do away with the preseason? Cubs drop a series at home to the Cincinnati Reds, and are now tied with Philly for the first wild card in the NL... A series with Milwaukee that should have been for the division is now for your life. How much anxiety is setting in for the Cubs as we enter the final month? Are you hitting the panic button?
