A few months ago, a few others in the independent space and I were attacked online in what appeared to be orchestrated friendly fire. Why? Because after I went to China last year and came back impressed with the country, a group of independent media folks didn't like that I didn't describe China as a totalitarian, technocratic hellhole.Matt Ehret is a historian, researcher, and filmmaker who has also been attacked for similar reasons. He wrote a scathing Substack post in which he explained the problem with the entire anti-China narrative and how it plays into the hands of the elites trying to control us.

This is a very complicated discussion, but, basically, Simon Roche argues that a confluence of interlinked crises, both manmade and natural, are converging on a single period to trigger a global famine (and potentially far worse) around 2027. The manmade side includes the Ukraine war's impact on diesel and fertiliser, the Iran war threatening the Strait of Hormuz, a bond market crisis from the unwinding of the Japanese yen carry trade, and a stock market bubble exceeding 1929 levels, all of which he sees as orchestrated by a centuries-old Luciferian agenda to "break the neck of the world." On the natural side, a possible Carrington-level solar event (made worse by a weakening magnetic field), the Gleisberg cycle's agricultural devastation, and a super El Niño could be the worst in roughly 160 years, together making a catastrophic global food collapse in 2027, in his view, all but unavoidable.Simon refers to all of it as The Great Talmudic Confluence.
