With just five years left to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), not a single gender equality target is on track

The finding comes in the Gender Snapshot 2025 report issued on Monday by UN Women and the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA).

Prior to the launch, UN News’s Anshu Sharma spoke to Christine Arab, UN Women’s Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific.

She discusses the report and how women’s groups there are ensuring their voices are heard, including in promoting climate resilience.
