Justin is the founder and CEO of Yac, a voice collaboration tool for remote teams. Yac is an acronym of 'Yelling Across Cubicles.'

He noticed over the years of working remote that the accepted culture of getting stuff done was to have meetings all day. He and his team started thinking about how to increase the amount of communication that happened during the day, without increasing the number of meetings.

Yac is the end result of their combined efforts to make this happen.

Yac is a byproduct of their partially remote, design and development agency based out of Orlando called SoFriendly. While it did come out of a desire to help remote teams feel more connected, they actually started by scratching their own itch. They have employees all around the world and found that they felt more connected to employees using voice chat versus just text alone.

In his own words, 'Yac was invented as a way to have a happy medium between a Slack message and a Zoom call.'
