MD, Dan Siegel is an award-winning educator and writer in the field of mind and mental health. He is the executive director of the Mindsight Institute, Senior Scientific Advisor of IDGs, and founding co-director of the Mindful Awareness Research Center at UCLA. He is also a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the School of Medicine, where he was principal co-investigator of the Center for Culture, Brain, and Development. He was trained in attachment research and narrative analysis.
