Are you looking to save time, make money, and start winning with less risk? Then head to https://www.ovtlyr.com.Learn more about OVTLYR: https://youtu.be/TUCbD5KovlcThis is not an easy market… but that doesn't mean there aren't opportunities.Crude oil is above $105, the 10-year yield is pushing toward 5%, and SPY has once again moved into a bearish trend. The 10 EMA is below the 20 EMA and price is below the 50 EMA. That doesn't tell us how long the move will last or how far it will go, but it does tell us the current direction of the market. And that's the challenge right now. This isn't a market where you simply buy a sector and let it run for months. Money is rotating, leadership is changing, and the strongest areas today may not be the strongest areas next week.September has historically been one of the most difficult months for the market, and this year is continuing that pattern. The good news? Rotation creates opportunity if you know where to look. The new OVTLYR Sector Rotation Waterfall gives a visual representation of where money is flowing across the market. Instead of looking backward after a sector has already moved, you can see how rankings are changing over time and identify areas gaining strength.Technology led for a long period. Then leadership rotated into consumer discretionary, healthcare, energy, materials, and now back into energy. The goal is not to predict the future—it is to observe where money is moving and adjust as the market changes.Communication services is one area starting to stand out. The sector has moved into the middle of the rankings, market breadth is improving, and the chart is developing a potential bullish continuation pattern. Companies like Netflix, Google, and Meta are part of this group, giving the sector exposure to advertising, software, and artificial intelligence. But timing still matters. The broader market remains difficult. Semiconductors have weakened, SMH is in a bearish trend, and many individual stocks are fighting against negative market and sector conditions. Remember: roughly 30% of a stock’s movement comes from the stock itself, while the sector and overall market influence the majority of the move.Oil is another example. The commodity remains strong, but energy stocks and crude oil do not always move together. Oil is a unique asset class with different participants, contracts, and drivers. Technical levels matter, but geopolitical catalyst risk can overwhelm any chart. That’s why I’m still avoiding energy. The opportunity may be there, but waking up to a geopolitical headline that changes the entire trade is not a risk I want in my portfolio.✅ SPY bearish trend, yields, and the current market environment✅ September seasonality and why volatility is increasing✅ OVTLYR Sector Rotation Waterfall and tracking money flow✅ Communication services, Meta, Google, Netflix, and sector strength✅ Oil resistance, catalyst risk, and tactical trading decisionsIf you've been frustrated because the market feels like it gives you opportunities one day and takes them away the next… this one is worth watching.
