Bobby joined the discussion for this installment of the program, wide range of conversation. The group discussed various conspiracy theories and current events, including underground bunkers and transportation systems. They highlighted a recent victory in Ohio where citizens successfully pushed back against the Ohio EPA's proposal to allow data centers to pollute waterways. The conversation touched on the challenges of fighting bureaucracy and the importance of public action in protecting the environment. The discussion also included references to the movie "Idiocracy" and its relevance to current issues. Jay and Bobby discussed the rise of Democratic Socialists in American politics, highlighting various DSA members across different levels of government. They reviewed a long list of DSA representatives, expressing skepticism about their backgrounds and policies. The conversation concluded with personal reflections about friendship and life priorities, followed by sponsorship announcements for the program.   Lake Erie Currents is a proud member of the new Goyim Defense League. Elliott joined the program again from the PNW and we discuss some current events, one of the most smooth brained takes from a so called theologian on TCN show, Northern Ireland news, the power of prayer, Christian charity, spiritual warfare and never giving up.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWOUEwENYGE https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Rvl_fqn-B-g   Lake Erie Currents is a proud member of the new Goyim Defense League. We discuss anti-Christian violence by you know who. Missing scientists working on the current UFO psyop. A listener sent in some questions, so those were answered. We also discuss getting it wrong, admitting as much, and correcting. Another attempt on the Emperor, and some other stuff as well.  https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/french-nun-assaulted-jerusalem-latest-130338415.html  https://www.the-sun.com/news/16236206/scientist-dead-after-danger-warning-trump-vows-answers/  Lake Erie Currents is a proud member of the new Goyim Defense League. Iran Conflict and U.S. Role Jay hopped back on the mic with Bill Schimana, executive producer & a notorious NS war criminal from Eastern Europe to unpack the latest Middle East meltdown, and the basic takeaway was: nobody has a good plan, but everybody has missiles. They talked about airstrikes in Iraq and Iran, with Jay arguing this has all the signs of another “totally under control” regime-change project. His point: if the goal is really to topple Iran, that’s not a weekend operation. That’s a boots, tanks, and decades of regret operation. Jay and Bill also ran through the region’s usual chaos menu: Iran, Hezbollah, ISIS, Israel, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and a bunch of overlapping grudges old enough to qualify for retirement benefits. Jay noted the weird alliances, the religious tensions, and the fact that every country in the region seems to be both threatened and threatening at the same time. They also talked about Turkey’s troop presence in Syria, missile threats to U.S. bases, cheap drones making expensive defense systems look silly, and Israel’s apparent goal of coming out of all this as the undisputed regional boss. On Iran, Jay warned that any U.S. ground invasion would be enormous, ugly, and very much not the quick-and-easy adventure some people always seem to imagine from behind a desk. They also touched on oil routes, gas prices, nuclear weapons, terror attacks, unrest in the U.S., and the growing global trend of “wow, everything is somehow connected and also worse.” They wrapped it all up the only way you really can after a conversation like that: pray for peace, pray for civilians, and maybe don’t trust anyone who says this will all be simple. The Lake Erie Currents podcast returned from a month-long absence to discuss several major news topics, including the ongoing Epstein case, ICE confrontations in Minnesota, and anti-Christian violence in Washington state. Jay was joined by Bill Schimana, a newly knighted executive producer, to explore these issues and discuss the broader societal decline. They examined how different religious communities would respond to similar provocations, noting that Muslim and Jewish communities would likely react more strongly than Christian ones. The conversation concluded with reflections on the state of American politics and society, emphasizing the importance of maintaining hope despite current challenges. The program reasserted its anti-Thalmor position.   Lake Erie Currents is a proud member of the new Goyim Defense League. Political Issues and Social Impact Jay and Chris riffed on politics: Amy Acton being unpopular in Ohio, Somali scams, and the irony of California ICE protests. They also joked about how people forget past events fast—and how political choices can hit businesses and communities. Local Issues and Future Optimism They jumped from Somali food to local headlines, including the murder of Irina, the murder of Charlie Kirk, and the government shutdown. Jay stayed optimistic about the future, saying younger generations are resilient. They also talked about local court corruption: a repeat offender released on bail by an activist judge, leading to a murder, plus a judge charged with records tampering who resigned. Political Wealth and Immigration Debate Jay and Chris criticized wealthy politicians—especially Nancy Pelosi’s big stock portfolio—questioning why rich people get into politics. They ended with a UK asylum discussion sparked by a sexual assault case involving two migrants, debating immigration vs. security. Crime Sentencing and Holiday Traditions They were furious over what they saw as weak sentences for a violent crime. Then they switched to holidays: Christmas trees and Kwanzaa, with Jay taking shots at Kwanzaa’s origins. They wrapped with Jay thanking supporters and encouraging listeners to stay positive for the new year. Jay and Chris move through a packed slate of stories: from Zohran Mamdani’s unlikely sit-down with Donald Trump, to welfare fraud allegations in Minnesota, to wild mayoral politics in Seattle. Along the way they dig into homelessness in Cleveland, child-safety failures, financial and religious loopholes, and even Marjorie Taylor Greene’s resignation amid renewed scrutiny of the Epstein files.
