Cracker Barrel and Virtue Signaling - Is DEI Dead on Arrival?

The US is divided ideologically like never before, and the schism has metastasized into a high-profile assassination on a college campus, with the death of Charlie Kirk (which occurred as we recorded the program). We recognize the courage and faith of Charlie Kirk, who fought some of the same battles we have engaged through the years. This program focuses on the worldview war playing out at the college campus, the rising ideological division on the campuses and between states, the abdication of Christians, and the rise of Islam.

After running through a plethora of problems with social media as collected by the secularists, the rest of us wonder if its really worth it. The Bible has nothing to say about it. . . except for the thousands of principles governing human relationships found in the Book of Proverbs, the Gospels, and the Epistles. Actually, you'd be surprised how much the Bible says about Social Media. We end the discussion with a few simple questions to test the edifying value of uploads and downloads on this media form.

About half of college borrowers are behind on their loans now, and the percentage of young people in college has already fallen off from 81% to 63% over just the last few years. The majority of job offerings have lifted the college degree. But what's a young person to do? How will the next generation compete with AI? But what is this virtue signaling and why are companies getting behind the transgender insanity with such enthusiasm? The number of people on psychotropic drugs is high nowadays. The world around is in constant need of catharsis, via drugs, music, and entertainment. What is the role of music in a Christian's life? The Bible encourages Christians to admonish each other with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, but what about secular music? Is it okay for Christians to listen to this kind of music? He pushed for Christian legal defense organizations in an anti-Christian age. Dr. James Dobson was the man for the day — a quarterback fighting for every inch he could get, when pushed back to his own 5 yard line. He fought for a country through Roe v. Wade, Lawrence v. Texas, and Obergefell. He fought to save a civilization. . . a losing battle. He lost the pro-life plank. He lost the pornography battle. He lost the war on sexual perversion. This pill can kill without the woman knowing it. This pill can be mailed across state lines. This pill has already killed 500 million kids. . . soon to be 1 billion by 2030. Is this wrongful death or just plain murder? Chief responsibility for this holocaust lies at the feet of 4 people — all atheists and agnostics who turned away from the faith of their fathers. Will governments rein in the devastation, or will God have to do it?
