Podcast Preview: Blue Poison brings you straight into the realities of frontline life — without the sugar-coating.
Hosted by Bri Allen, the show exposes what really happens when the uniform comes off: the struggles, the stress, the impact on relationships, the emotional toll, and the stories that rarely get spoken aloud.

In this episode, we examine two murders in the Northern Territory, decades apart, both committed by men experiencing severe mental disturbance.

Case 1, 1983: In Darwin, police were called to a vacant lot near Lameroo Lodge after a woman was found dead. The killer was Andy Albury.

Case 2, 2016: At Connors Well, a remote roadside rest stop north of Alice Springs, a French tourist was fatally stabbed. The attacker was Pande Veleski.

Both incidents were sudden, unprovoked, and left lasting impact on the victims’ families.
