This week we are welcoming back Heather Reams, President and CEO of Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions. CRES is a right-of-center, non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. that engages policymakers and the public about responsible, conservative solutions to address our nation’s energy, economic and environmental security, while increasing America’s competitive edge. A key part of the EcoRight community, she has led the CRES team since 2016 and oversees the core activities of the organization, ensuring the successful expansion of conservative clean energy policies across the nation. In addition to her role at CRES, Reams is also the Founder and Chair of both National Clean Energy Week (NCEW) and the Conservative Climate Foundation (CCF). This week she joins host Chelsea Henderson to preview the 9th annual National Clean Energy Week conference (Sept. 15-19, 2025) with options to tune-in virtually or attend in person.

Raj Agrawal on what inspired him to write a book after retiring from aerospace engineering.

Raj Agrawal is a retired aerospace engineer and a first-generation immigrant from India. After completing his bachelor’s in engineering, he came to Ottawa, Canada where he obtained his master’s in aerospace engineering and met his future wife. They moved to Montreal, where they made their home for almost a quarter century and became proud parents. The family immigrated to the United States, the land of cutting-edge research and revolutionary inventions, just before the turn of the new century. But he’s not here this week to talk about his engineering career; he’s here to talk about his “near-term science fiction” trilogy. The first two books, Not for Sale! and Reversal! are published and the third book is in progress. He believes in the power of storytelling as a component of policy advocacy and that idea resonated with us.
