Shantell moved to Hawaii in 2012 to pursue an education in marine biology at UH Manoa. While attending school, she worked as a veterinary assistant and discovered her passion for veterinary medicine. In 2021, she became a registered veterinary technician after successfully passing the Veterinary Technician National Exam. For over a decade, Shantell has dedicated herself to caring for the dogs, cats, and horses of Oahu.
