In this activity, experts in family medicine and endocrinology discuss the role of oral glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists (RAs) in personalized type 2 diabetes (T2D) management. Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to: Discuss individualized, guideline-informed management strategies for T2D that address glycemic control, weight, and patient-specific factors; Differentiate key pharmacologic, administration, and tolerability characteristics of oral GLP-1 RAs to support patient counseling in T2D; and Interpret clinical evidence for approved and emerging oral GLP-1 RAs to inform their potential role in addressing gaps in T2D management.
