Dr Gill Frigerio is an Associate Professor in the Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Warwick who leads on the Centre's qualifications in Career Studies and Coaching. Prior to moving into a teaching role, Gill worked in career development practice and management, and most recently was Head of Careers in the Centre for Student Careers and Skills at Warwick. Gill's teaching interests cover theory and practice in career coaching; working with vocation and calling; as well as researching career development practice. She has research interests in intersectional approaches to women's career development, socially just careers work and supporting practitioners as researchers. Gill is the Chair of NICEC, a learned society for those working in career development. She has recently completed a Doctorate in Education looking at a 'calling-informed' framework for career development practice and particularly focusing on women's experiences of work and faith.

Today we hear from Alex Doulis noted expert and best-selling author on taxation, investing, banking and asset protection.  He has written six books providing guidance to Canadians to legally avoid paying tax and hold onto wealth. They are NOT get rich quick books.  His background is in finance having received his Chartered Financial Analyst in 1978. He worked in the investment industry in his later years and at aged 50, in 1990, having determined that more than 50 percent of his income was going to the tax men he devised the ultimate income tax avoidance scheme. Kevin Loring is an accomplished Canadian playwright, actor and director. He currently serves as Artistic Director of Indigenous Theatre at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. He also serves as Artistic Director of Savage Society where he develops work that reflects an indigenous world view. A Nlaka’pamux from the Lytton First Nation in British Columbia, Kevin was the winner of the Governor General’s Award for English Language Drama for his play, Where the Blood Mixes. The play explores the intergenerational effects of the residential school system. For decades, oil and gas were really the only choice for transportation and energy - heat, etc but it appears to be changing to a scenario where oil and gas are in a competition with electrics, hydrogen and sustainable combustion fuels (SCF).   In this episode, we hear from Andre Mech Environmental Engineer who has been a climate change proponent for the past 30 years.  Andre was first on Stephen Armstrong's Innovation / Career Buzz Show in January 2020 - "Disruption in the Global Auto Industry” and again in 2021 “Green is Taking off”.   Andre works in the areas of electrical generation, emission reduction, energy efficiency project evaluation, project development, finance, management, verification, including carbon offset generation activities to minimizing climate change.
