Liz asks Jenny how someone can be a great support system, not just by "offering" help, but actually showing up, and that it's ok to say YES to help. In the past we've talked about love languages, but we just recently read the book "The 5 Love Languages of Children" by Dr. Gary Chapman and Dr. Ross Campbell and we think it is a MUST read for parents. We learned all about what each love language means, how to figure out which one is your child’s specific language, and how us as parents can tweak our behaviors to connect with our kids on a deeper level to keep their love tanks full. Who knew acts of service, quality time, physical touch, words of affirmation or gift giving could help us relate to and strengthen not only relationships with our partners, but our kids too!
