Welcome back to the BWC and Happy September! We hope you all enjoyed your last week of summer, and are ready to hit the ground running with this new school year!  We're recapping our final weeks of summer - cape days and slow days, and how we are transitioning back to school. Delilah and Rocco are in pre-K, so we will keep you updated on those nervous jitters!  We get into the whole new labubu craze and how we struggle with wanting to give our kids everything vs. saying "no" to the silly fads (shoutout to Raw Kickz who Liz mentions!) We discuss the scary part of sending our kids to school (prayers to all those affected in the Minneapolis shooting), and how we want to protect our kids without completely sheltering them.  There's a town in MA that got rid of all homework for elementary school - do we love that!? The Summer we turned obsessed with teen drama...!! this episode had us LOL'ing from start to finish! Do you ever just feel like you're DONE?! Yeah, well so do we, especially now that we are a little past the midpoint of summer, and ALL rules and structure have been thrown out the window. We definitely vent about how our lives feel completely out of control right now, the type of moms we are right now, and how we plan on getting back on track. Potty training has always been one of the most asked questions, so we are dedicating the beginning of this episode strictly to what we have done in the past, and what we will do with our 2.5 year olds! We then get into the topic of Delilah starting preschool in the fall, and how hard drop offs can be (Rocco crying his entire year...) and how we deal with that. Then we bring it back to the newborn stage, and Libby discusses how she did not find the transition to motherhood to come naturally. Honestly, we don’t know what it is but they just don’t stress the small things as much as we do! And it adds up enough to drive us crazy sometimes. Ok guys - we recorded a great episode covering all things this past year as Liz turns 34, our two crazy little threenagers (and howe are handling things differently this go-around) and how are husbands straight up gas light us... and then we lost the file!!
