Episode 109: Special Guest, Eliza Fricker (Author, Illustrator, Advocate & Consultant)
On this month's 21andsensory Podcast episode I have the lovely Eliza Fricker on as my special guest. Eliza is an author & illustrator, and an advocate & consultant for PDA, autism and learning. She is the Sunday Times bestselling author of The Family Experience of PDA and Can't Not Won't.
Eliza has published several books, including A Different Kind of Parenting and the acclaimed autobiographical Thumbsucker. We chatted about Eliza’s latest book ‘Could Try Harder’ which explores topics such as masking, girlhood, the hidden cost of being misunderstood and about what happens when a person is taught all their life to perform instead of belong.
