What if play isn’t a distraction from the life you’re trying to create, but actually part of creating it?
This summer, I had a bit of a mindset shift around play. I was seeing play as boring, unproductive, or something I needed to do for my kids rather than something I genuinely wanted to do for myself.
But when I started intentionally making more space for play and being present with my kids, something unexpected happened: I became more creative, I had more fun, and I felt like a happier version of myself.
In this episode, I’m sharing what I learned about play, ambition, creativity, and why so many of us struggle to do things simply because they’re fun. We’ll talk about the productivity trap, what happened when I stopped worrying about whether my time was “useful,” and why play might be more important than we realize.
I don't want to be less ambitious. I still want the big goals, the ideas, the growth, and the things I'm creating.
I just want to build a life where ambition and joy can exist together and I think you do too!
