It’s the end of an era. One year ago, we had no idea this was coming. And today, it seems like the most obvious thing in the world. The chapter of Desire on Fire is coming to an end. And with this death, comes an exciting and powerful re-birth. We have been going through such an intense metamorphosis over the last year, both personally and professionally. While Ellie’s been gestating a baby, we’ve been gestating this re-brand, re-birth. Though our women’s work isn’t going anywhere, it became clear that the time has come to let go of our brand and business as we’ve known it, to make space for a new depth and frequency of our women’s work, and to create space for the men’s path, and co-ed work, within our community. So, we are letting Desire on Fire die, and we are going into the void for the next three months, while Ellie is on maternity leave and Aimee’s focusing on dating and making space for love & partnership. And in the spaciousness, we’re opening to receive the name of our new co-ed company. Hey Desire on Fire fam, Aimee here! In March I attended ISTA level 2 (a deep, shamanic, initiatory training) in Bali, and I’m finally ready to share with you about it. This training was intense, forcing me to face my protective mechanisms (especially with men), my fear of rejection, and my deep yearning to be loved, chosen, claimed and taken by a man. In this episode, I share about the messy, vulnerable, and at-times-humiliating journey I went on in this retreat, and the healing that came out of it. This week, we have a very special, long-awaited episode for you. We sat down with Rob Montgomerie to finally get his story out into the world (this is part 1 of a multi-part series)! Up until now, Rob has been a private person, happily serving behind-the-scenes, coaching leaders of some of the most powerful companies in the world.
