Fighting the Spiritual Battle for Children's Innocence — with Bonnie Wallace | UK Column Interviews

Professor Diane Rasmussen spoke with Bonnie Wallace, a Christian mum in Texas, about her tireless work in fighting to remove books containing sexually explicit, vulgar, and violent content present in children's library collections.
In November 2021, Bonnie was shown the book Gender Queer, which was in the children's section of the Llano County, Texas, library, and she set out to do whatever she could to protect the children of Llano County from pornographic content.
On 25 April 2022, Llano County, its judge, all four County Commissioners, its library director, and four members of the Library Advisory Board, including Bonnie, were sued for relocating 17 pornographic books out of the children's section of the Llano County Library. Llano County is the first library sued in America for relocating pornography out of their children's section.
Bonnie has been on a crusade to eradicate sexually explicit and pervasively vulgar content from children's access ever since. She has visited over 100 cities in Texas to teach those community members what to look for, how to find it, and what to do when they find it because pornography has crept into every city. According to Bonnie, seek and ye shall find. She works with Texas legislators to craft legislation to protect the innocence of Texas children. She also travels across the state and beyond to bring awareness to this issue.
Bonnie is thankful that God is using her in this battle, and she cannot wait to equip more people to help fight the demonic content which she has discovered in libraries across America. She lives by Ephesians 5:11 as she works: "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them".
