In this episode join Heather and Phil as they take a lovely bank holiday walk up to one of our pastures and discuss our herd of cattle and our new calves. After Heather answers one of your questions about Worm Composting.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
Firstly Heather and Phil discuss our Bokashi Active Bran, what it's used for and how we produce in on the farm.
Then get an audio tour of our farm, as they walk up through the yard and fields onto our pasture, where we have our herd of cows as they have been turned out for the summer. They discuss cow poo in length, how to know if you have a healthy cow and calf, the different types of grass needed for different types of cow and the yearly cycle of our cows.
After, Heather answers "What is worm compost and how do I make it". She explains what makes worms so good for composting, why we use Red and Dendra worms for composting and how you can get started.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Heather Phil and Monty live on Lower Blakemere Farm in rural Herefordshire. The farm is 650 acres and part of The Duchy of Cornwall estate. There are several diversifications on the farm - the main ones are The Great British Florist and Wiggly Wigglers.
These small ecommerce businesses are run by Heather, San, Rach, Rob and Lydia. Wiggly Wigglers aim is to Bring your Garden back to Life with worm and bokashi composting, garden bird food and other ideas to encourage a wilder garden.
The Great British Florist grows, and makes garden bouquets and posies daily on the farm which are sent all over the UK to hopefully deliver a Brighter Day!
