Rick Krebs, CPA (aka the M&A Cowboy), is the co-founder of the EPI Utah Chapter of Exit Planners, the first group of its kind in Utah. Nominated as the Exit Planning Institute’s Member of the Year for 2023, he is also the founder of Business Sales Group, an M&A firm in Heber City, UT, and has been selling companies for 14 years. Rick authored "Sell Your Business By Design, Not By Default" and hosts the popular podcast "M&A Murders & Accusations: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly of Selling Your Business." He is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) and graduated from Utah State University with a MAcc and Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Passionate about helping business owners prepare for and sell their businesses for the best possible terms, Rick finds the right buyer for the right price. In his spare time, he enjoys being a cowboy, exploring the mountains and deserts of Utah with his wife and riding his favorite horse, Cookie Monster.
