New season. The question that taught me what it means to be a man, why Christian men "hiding their power level" are lying, and my plan for this season, including the guests and our next book club.

It starts with a story from a men's initiation weekend I went through in 2013: a man in the middle of a silent room, a broken promise, and one question. "Number 34, what did you choose to do instead?" That question taught me what accountability and integrity are, and what it means to be a man.

Then I turn it on something I've watched grow all year: Christian men "hiding their power level." There's another word for it. It's called lying.

So here's the plan for this season. I've read more than four thousand pages on the far right this year, and now I'm going straight to the authors who wrote them. I lay out who I'm reaching out to, why many of them are on the left, the three questions you can ask any man you're worried about, and what a real repudiation sounds like. And I'm announcing our next book club: Walk the Narrow, by Raven's Anvil.

Let's get to work.
